Ha. Didn't mean it like that. I'm a York fan. Just providing context. He was the best defensemen on that team by a mile and was skilled enough to keep up with Jack Hughes and Caufield on the PP.

Just messing with you, I understand. They had several great players, for sure. Still, York was the leader of the D, is highly lauded by his teammates on that team, was USA Captain for the Gold at WJC - and you can't create great rushes without a nice solid, accurate outlet pass. I really like York's mind for the game, his passing and skating.

Luke Hughes reminds me of Sanheim in his skating and stickhandling. If that wasn’t bad enough, we need defensemen who can actually play defense. York and Provy have the offense handled.

Clarke and Hughes are in a completely different class from Sanheim.

Nah. I grew up watching Rick Tocchet and outside of Lindros, the Flyers haven't had a forward line that who makes you fear going into the corners. Mike Richards was close, but his pill popping consumption killed his career
