This Giants team just needs to sweep the Eagles and I'll be happy. draft offensive linemen in the offseason who can protect DJ and we will improve. Jones has shown when he is protected, he is above average QB in this league.

What's the point of winning when it just hurts your draft position in a draft that the Giants need for the future?

Can someone explain to me what Wilson does well? He looks clueless out there. That throw that was dropped by Johnson was one of the worst jobs leading a receiver I've seen in a while.

It was a pretty typical bad pass that you see several times a game. Hardly “one of the worst jobs leading a receiver…in a while.”

The problem is that he does this all the time. He just did it again on third down right before the field goal. Still trying to see what, if anything, this guy can do well.

As bad as the Jets are the Panthers have the worst QB situation imo.

Ditching your aging, broken franchise QB to sign Teddy Bridgewater to a 3 year contract, then getting rid of him and paying the Broncos to roster him so you can trade a bunch of stuff for Sam Darnold (and give him the 5th year extension) who actually sucks so you then have to give the job to PJ Walker to then decide after 1 game that you're going to bring back Cam Newton to realize that he in fact sucks.

Other than that, I think they're doing great with their QB situation.

And then you bench cam Newton and yup Walker still sucks.

Giants manage to pin the Chargers deep in their own zone and the defense gets a great stop. Chargers punter flubs one and gives the Giants excellent field position. The Giants lose like 3 yards on the drive, punt for 18 yards and the Chargers then score with 40 seconds left.

Absolutely embarrassing team.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have absolutely no faith in John Mara to do the right thing. The league isn’t stepping in to help The Giants this time. There is no George Young coming in.

The Jets line is awful, the running game is awful, and all of their top playmakers are out...

With that said, I still expect to see some glimpses from Wilson. He already has happy feet.

On a side note, Douglass obviously got too cute trading down in the 2020 draft eventually taking Mims when they could’ve had Claypool or Van Jefferson. Just another classic Jets blunder...

I was originally high on Joe Douglass, but the jury is still out. So far, his only slam dunk move was the Adams trade which he was forced into. Outside of that, Michael Carter? Everything else is up in the air.

Yeah IDK. I'm not sold at all. I had mentioned earlier in the thread that he strikes me as someone who thinks he's smarter than everyone. How can you continue to neglect the secondary like that? How can you continue year after year to not be able to find a kicker? So many things about the team that just don't make sense. I'm not saying fire the guy, but I think next season you need to see some significant improvement or that's it.

The G-Men could have had Micah Parsons, but they traded down.

Parsons would have been junk on this team. This is not a franchise that can support growth from younger players. It’s a dysfunctional mess. Much better off with the Bears 1st and 4th this year. And even though Toney has been injury prone year 1, he is dynamite. Can only imagine what he would look like in a competent offense
