Greer and Gauthier 2 on 1 and as Greer flubbed possession Gauthier got too far ahead for the pass when Greer finally regained control and passed it. Goat's shot went through the crease.

2 saves by Schmid, the 2nd off a terrible rebound.

Clarke hasn't been on the scoresheet much the past few weeks. Hope he can get on a run as the regular season winds down.

I was at the game tonight. It was an entertaining game. Utica did a good job creating and cashing in on their chances , it was a pretty even game till Utica blew it open late in the 3rd period. That Schmid save was pretty cool in person , I wasn't sure if he got that with his pad or if the shot went wide.

Big games from Greer and Bahl after being sent down. Good to see Clarke get an early goal to get the game going and to snag the last goal of the game too.

Zetterlund is a good prsopect. He is super noticeable and has some great skill. He is their triggerman on the pp when Holtz isn't playing. He has a pretty good shot too.

All in all it was a fun game. The XL Center in Harrtord is a nice rink. They still have all the Whalers banners up there in the rafters too. It's a nice little city, check out a game there if you get the chance.

Following a 3-game losing streak that saw the Comets sink below the .700 winning percentage, with the current 3-game win streak they have inched back above the .700 winning percentage - .703. That's good for 3rd overall.

They'd have to go gonzo to attempt to surpass #2 Chicago's .733 and the Wolves would have to help them out.

There is no prayer to catch #1 Stockton at .755.
