Two rookie goaltenders concerns me but otherwise I like the roster.

Blackwood not playing in NJ concerns me too but his heel rehab why Wedgewood is up there. That happens to every AHL team. The only real longterm bad thing that could happen is we lose Blackwood on waivers but I don’t know where teams are to with goalies.

I don’t think Buffalo needs him, they can go with Anderson & Tokarski for now. John Gibson is DTD, they called Lukas Dostal up & that should be enough. Varlamov is DTD as well. Matt Murray is DTD and Ottawa might be a better team without him.

Samuel Montembeault on the Habs is concerning, he got lit up by the Sabres in their 5-1 loss. They have Primeau too though.

Tyce Thompson 2 assists in the first period. He looks much better than last year.

Thompson and Holtz should be the first call ups up front depending on what they’re looking for and okhotiuk the first d call up. I’d really like to see a Wood McLeod and Thompson 4th line at some point.
