This is the type of game where you need someone to just make a play. The problem is we have so few playmakers on the roster.

What happened to all that talk about how great our peospects are and how good the drafting has been.

The Kings still have a good prospect system and have seen some young players (particularly defenseman) make big steps. The problem is the high end guys have all been disappointments thus far in their careers. If any of these highly forwards had made similar progression that Anderson and Spence have made as mid-round defenseman we have another top 6, and maybe even 1st line forward.
