Durzi couldn't break an egg. His shot is feather soft. But he has deception and good vision.


The problem is Anze, who takes so long to move the puck that the Oilers sag off him and wait for his pass to be made and converge on that guy, usually Kempe. Then there is little time to do anything but force it or go back to the point to reset the same damn play again.

I dont know if you listened the Gretzky interview on the chicklets podcast.. but he was adamant that system freaks ruin player creativity.. that he was taught to have fun and be creative. Could that be the reason why Kings cant develop a forward? Probably so - and neuter anyone that thinks outside the box like Durzi

Sorry but after all these years and coaches, the only constant for a sucking PP is Kopitar...he has got to get off the PP. We need to move the puck much faster, he is done on the PP, get someone in the offseason.

For now try Stecher on the point, Durzi isn't shooting anymore.

That doesn’t surprise me. When Durzi made the team on the PP he ran things. Now it’s Kopitar centered again. Durzi was awesome.
