Brown is the only Kings captain to raise the cup.

It's been many years, so most everyone has accepted it to a degree and moved on

Under Kopitar’s captaincy, the Kings have won two playoff games total, including game one of this series.

Say what you will about Brown but he exemplified how the team wanted to play during the time he was captain. He was a leader on and off the ice. I was always highly critical of Brown as a player during his prime and even I disagree how Sutter went about that. Pure mind game BS, and one of the reasons Sutter has a shelf life
