I'd like to see Vilardi check back in and scratch Lemieux.
AA Lizotte Vilardi line was very good in the Seattle game.
Home game, last change, they can take advantage of certain matchups.

Keys to victory.
1) Quick must be better than Smith.
2) Kings have to get back to their 5 on 5 advantage. If they're getting outshot at 5 on 5, there is nowhere to hide.
3) A powerplay goal.
4) Kings defense needs to do better on the Oiler dump ins. Oilers wore down the Kings D and every Kings breakout was sloppy/contested.

Byfield has to be scratched, dude is just not ready

plug a Kupari or Vilardi in there and see what happens, Vilardi was kind of taking off at season's end...

I hope the crowd is pumped tonight and gives some energy to the guys out on the ice. And if Smith is going to dive again, make sure you get a good hit on him. Make it count.

Hypothetically, what would happen to a player that is retiring at the end of the season, but gets a long suspension for say, oh, I don't know, kneeing a highly-skilled player on the other team and taking them out for a few months? No, I'm not advocating deliberately injuring someone, but these things can happen with the speed of the game.

I know it's a joke, but this type of joke leads to bad karma from the hockey gods. Do better dude.

Hopefully Todd can remember that he’s a coach and kinda do that job

Rasmus had better play his best game ever. Hoping for an Arvidsson miracle....he's not on the ice, apparently at the 10:30 skate

#5 Arvidsson takes the ice in warmups and is 100% ready to go to war.

I am fine with Byfield being sat, even a little surprised that they had the cajones to make the call, but I am a little uneasy with Kupari being the center. I have really liked him on wing, but feel he has been lackluster and unable to rise to the challenge at center. Either way, I think he has been more effective than Byfield and hopefully he can use his speed and tenacity to be more effective defensively.

The key to the bottom 6 is not just maybe chipping in a goal or two, but mainly to keep the puck out of our net. We have control of the line changes this time around so I expect them to not be caught up against McDavid so much.

Obviously, Edmonton has aced the Gordon Bombay school of penalty drawing and are looking to use their special team advantage to win the series, but their secondary plan is to target our bottom 6.

Good move getting Kupari in for Byfield who's been horrendous. Should also help the brutal PK
