I hear that right? You guys got an Only Fans appreciation night? :P
I heard that too. Would be a great marketing ploy to trot out thots during intermissions. Staples would finally sell out. A nightclub and a rink? I should be on the marketing team

I mean, Staples has been dead silent for the last 5+ years at this point.

Nice to do to the Hawks what they did to us for so many years, great full-game performance, great bounceback after the goal and challenge.

Good things happening on the verge of the playoffs--Quick is dialed in, Kopitar-AA-Kempe appears set, Danault line is of course set. Third line was meh tonight but they're probably set too. 4th line looked like the 3rd when it was first put together, so in a 4th line capacity, it's good--stellar possession time and just cursed with no finish haha. Hopefully Grundstrom stays in the lineup, I think you have to give that line another game to see what they have before doing any more tinkering.

D looks awesome, Spence has grown right into Voynov+ in such a reliable way that no one even has a word to say about him. Edler is channeling his younger self--he's clearly slower but all brain, seems to read Moverare well, they were PKing very strongly together. Roy looks almost back to normal. Trying not to read too much into a game vs. a struggling team but it's good to build some confidence and solidify things before stepping into a 7-game series!

Kings are 17-3-5 with AA in the lineup.
Some of that is a coincidence. But some of it is due to the element he provides.

One thing I love about AA is he smells blood in the water, one-track mind when there's a bobbling puck or a 50-50 play to be made, and after a goal or two, he gains some extra legs.

Tonight him and Kopitar appeared to start making some of the plays Kopi and Gaborik used to make where they just instinctively know where the other will be, that's huge.

The system is about predictability - and he adds an unpredictable element it needs.. he also never backs off puts pressure on the D at all times. We dont have anyone else like him.

AA didn't play well with Zetterberg and old Zetterberg reminds me a lot of old Kopitar. But they seem to have something going right now.
