Byfield looks very raw. Looks lost at times. Needs more time in the AHL.

The Byfield line's first shift in the 2nd period was reminiscent of past year's Kings teams inability to clear the defensive zone after regaining possession. It really underlines how the team's turned that part of the game around. This season, it's mostly, "regain the puck and quickly get it out" (or bounce it out to the neutral zone and pass it back into the defensive zone to maintain possession).
