Bet Byfield learned a ton in those 8 minutes. Probably wants to go back to Ontario to play with some talented wingers
this is my biggest beef

i can accept losing, i don't like it, but there's nothing being learned here, no progress being made

i'm not sure being in the bigs playing 8 minutes is any better than playing big minutes in the A even if he doesn't belong there

How the f*** are we talking playoffs when we can’t win in our division ? How is this acceptable I don’t get it.

I'm the last on the fire the coach train, but whoever runs this power play needs to get 86'd. Kings are going to miss the playoffs because of it. Kings outshot them and if they get a single goal on the power play they probably win the game.

that’s the most infuriating part. They sucked but the Kings have apes and corpses of veterans crashing this team into the sun. Blake, Todd, Brown, Sturm, Kopitar. The 5 reasons why the Kings are losing so much.

5 people.
If they miss the playoffs maybe they will break up the core. Everyone got their ceremony and it could be time for it to end.

He learned he has to cheat back and be the F3 because he can't trust his wingers to do anything anywhere with or without the puck

In other words we're going to turn a raw offensive force into Jordan Staal

This team isn’t making the playoffs.

Honestly? I sure hope not.

At least Byfield won't have his development ruined by playing only 8 minutes and being saddled alongside Brown and AA.

Funny thing is they talked about putting byfield in a positon to succeed last year. Pp time adequate wingers..... guess that only applies to last year
The audacity that Todd said "he doesn't want to put too much pressure on him" He doesn't even get ice time or proper teammates, he's not being utilized.

23rd game this season failing to score 3 times in regulation. 48% of total games.

Bowlby, keep thinking that the washed up veterans and underwhelming young players are going to solve the scoring issues. Trade for a goal-scorer to play with Kopitar and move Iafallo or Kempe down to hopefully give some kind of spark to the 3rd line which is a zero every night. Dustin Brown is on his last-legs and should be given nights off to stay refreshed, you woefully mismanaged another talented young player by putting him in a stupid ass situation last season and now the coach doesn't trust him to play in a playoff race because he has 15 games instead of a full season behind him. The best moves you have made involved bringing in players from other teams, lets please do it again.

Just amazing to have a 2nd and 4th line play this well and continue to get such terrible performances from other lines.

The Kings, with defensive monsters like Kopitar and Danault eating all the toughest minutes and one of the best 4th lines in the league could really afford to load up the 3rd line with offensive 'specialists' and/or rookies, or at least reduce Kopitar's minutes so he doesn't die at the end of every game...but instead of rolling Byfield with literally ANY combo of Turcotte/Vilardi/JAD/Grundstrom/even Tkachev or Frk and using some of those guys on the PP, he gets to suffer and die next to Brown and Athanasiou, while watching those guys get undeserved PP time while he sits the bench. "development."

At least Turcotte is getting huge PP minutes in Ontario so he...wait he's not? Oh imagine that.

Omit Blake...he brought in Danault, Arvidsson and Edler....and only gave up a 2nd and 3rd rounder. He moved Carter, when he was a corpse...and he brought in Lemieux for a 4th rounder. Those were his last 5 moves, I believe. All big wins. Edler was the biggest surprise and the Kings may have 3 or 4 more pts in the standings, had he not gone down. He was that good, honestly.

I agree about the other 4, though.

I agree on his moves, but he is at the VERY least tacitly endorsing TM here by not intervening in any way.

f*** he could Art Howe him by waiving/trading AA for a f***ing wax lace vending machine but he hasn't even done that.

Blake is responsible for letting our coaches continue to be dipshits.

Bad teams find ways to lose games, and the Kings have lost more than they've won against their own division. The pathetic special teams play has cost them many points, and it will come back to bite them in the ass in the standings.

Only takes one game...first game in two weeks...very evenly played....for you all to determine the Kings suck and won't make the playoffs...oh, and coach sucks too. LOL, you all are pathetic fans....yah, pathetic.

I do recall a practice a few months ago, where Brown and Todd were not on the ice....and in the office. The next game was the first game Brown was removed from PP1....but then he found his way back on PP2. (thanks, Sturm and Todd!) I honestly believe Rob made that call. I think that's the only time I have ever heard Todd not on the ice at practice.

They need to sit Brown. Call up Gabe and get him a RW3 with Byfield.

The Kings have 3 #1 picks in Ontario: Vilardi, Kupari, Turcotte. All Draft +2 or more.
It sucks to see players like Mercer and Boldy producing and 3 King top picks in Ontario still.
Glad Arty is making strides and playing so well. 9 goals on line 3 / 4 whatever it's called.
