For the first ten games LA lost about 10, then they turned it on. Their line of Lemieux - Lizotte - Kaliyev has been lights out. The iafallo - danault - kempe line has been excellent too. Kings get a lot of shots, outwork their opponent. A lot of injuries on defense. Numerous defensemen have been called up this season, but the D is holding strong. Great goaltending by Quick and decent to great goaltending by Petersen. Byfield made his season debut 1.5 weeks ago and he's impressed, although he's been taking penalties. Overall, Kings look good and are challenging for a playoff spot.
