It’s absolutely impossible to develop any sort of feel for the game with ice time this sporadic, especially for a player whose game is based off play with the puck.

He got one shift with some quality, and the line was buzzing.

byfield's minutes get a little bit of a pass at the moment for me because there's been so much special teams horseshit this game, but todd's managing to get kaliyev and lizotte out there without brendan sooooo....

there's still some funny business there but there are also some extenuating circumstances
