"He's an agitator, and not a very good one at that". Agreed, he's much better at goal scoring.

Kings are 3-2-1 in the last 6 games.

In that 6 game span, they played the top 3 teams in the division, plus the 2 hottest teams in the league.

I've said it before, but I really do think this team is markedly improved over what we've seen in previous seasons. It might not be enough for the playoffs, but they are improved.

I would not break up that '2nd' line (really our 1st) under any circumstance right now. One of the most dominant in the NHL.

Get Brown far away from Kopitar and Kempe, but don't touch Iafallo-Danault-Arvidsson.

I will say right now that Brown on the 1st line will lose us games on this roadie.

We really must watch different games.
If we talk about Iafallo - Danault - Arvidson, i have to say this is the most incompetent line ever played hockey.
Danault is not a hockey player in any meaning. His lack of vision, playmaking, passing and speed are remarkable even for Kings conditions.
Arvidson is constantly shooting without the ability to shoot and Iafallo can't get anything done on his own.

I agree to keep them together for different reasons though.
I want to keep the incompetence together in one line to contain the damage.

Having players like that as a 2nd line is the exact reason why we are a non playoff team for a long time

Danault has great understanding of the game and do not see it you must be blind.
He has good vision, playmaking, defense, passing ability and passion for the game of hockey
Iafallo can get almost anything done on his own.
He is quintessential universal player.
Arvidson is not very creative, but he is ok.

Imagine watching only the Edmonton, Vancouver, Dallas, and Minnesota games. It would be tough to understand the Vancouver game in the context of the other three.

Has LA transitioned to the type of team that keeps the opponent bottled up in their own end? That's what I saw for most of the minutes not played against Vancouver. Against Vancouver, I saw a team constantly coughing up the puck in the defensive zone for scoring opportunities and goals against.

What was odd was how seemingly unbalanced the other three games looked (even Minnesota with the 2-1 outcome).

I only see him throwing puck in front of the opponent net doesn't matter a team mate is there or not.
This has nothing to do with playmaking or vision, this is blind desperation
I also have passion for the game hockey but nobody in his right mind would sign me as NHL player

Danault has exceeded my expectations. Awesome on faceoffs, strong +/- and his point production is right in line with his career totals. Kings D is vastly improved over last year -- PD is a big part of it.

The Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.

But even a good defensive team will have games in which they give up 4+.

With Edler being out, it will be interesting to see how much the team is affected.

Yep Roy was starting to turn it around in terms of his play and why do you think that is? He was paired with Edler instead of freaking Maatta. Now that he's going to be back with Maatta it's going to be bad Roy again. Having to carry that clown. It was like last year when everyone looked horrible when paired with Macdermid. It wasn't because those defensemen were terrible it's because Mac was a boat anchor.

It's rough, because Edler was the best Defenceman not named Doughty both offensively and defensively

Frankly, they've been like that for much of the season...they haven't been able to turn it into wins due to impotent offense and trash-tier special teams as well as untimely goals against (and lack of timely goals for).

I haven't looked but at one point they had been involved in more one goal games than anyone in the NHL and were just too often on the wrong side of them because of the above.

Correct even one of those issues...and you have a playoff team.
