Thinking Lemieux should be on the first line is taking the Lemieux love too far
Lmao
TMc hasn't made any hard decisions yet. It is easy to bench and demote young players. I take that back he did demote Brown for a game or so before promoting him back to the first line.
Talking smack is bad, but injuring players is not, I guess...
Foligno so overtly contradicts himself in his own quote that it makes you wonder if it's a joke.
I would not break up that '2nd' line (really our 1st) under any circumstance right now. One of the most dominant in the NHL.
Get Brown far away from Kopitar and Kempe, but don't touch Iafallo-Danault-Arvidsson.
I will say right now that Brown on the 1st line will lose us games on this roadie.

We really must watch different games.
If we talk about Iafallo - Danault - Arvidson, i have to say this is the most incompetent line ever played hockey.
Danault is not a hockey player in any meaning. His lack of vision, playmaking, passing and speed are remarkable even for Kings conditions.
Arvidson is constantly shooting without the ability to shoot and Iafallo can't get anything done on his own.
I agree to keep them together for different reasons though.
I want to keep the incompetence together in one line to contain the damage.
Having players like that as a 2nd line is the exact reason why we are a non playoff team for a long time

Kings are 3-2-1 in the last 6 games.
In that 6 game span, they played the top 3 teams in the division, plus the 2 hottest teams in the league.
I've said it before, but I really do think this team is markedly improved over what we've seen in previous seasons. It might not be enough for the playoffs, but they are improved.
Danault has great understanding of the game and do not see it you must be blind.
He has good vision, playmaking, defense, passing ability and passion for the game of hockey
The Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.Imagine watching only the Edmonton, Vancouver, Dallas, and Minnesota games. It would be tough to understand the Vancouver game in the context of the other three.
Has LA transitioned to the type of team that keeps the opponent bottled up in their own end? That's what I saw for most of the minutes not played against Vancouver. Against Vancouver, I saw a team constantly coughing up the puck in the defensive zone for scoring opportunities and goals against.
What was odd was how seemingly unbalanced the other three games looked (even Minnesota with the 2-1 outcome).
The Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.
But even a good defensive team will have games in which they give up 4+.
With Edler being out, it will be interesting to see how much the team is affected.
It's rough, because Edler was the best Defenceman not named Doughty both offensively and defensivelyThe Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.
