My play by play thoughts from the first period…

Lots of white towels visible on the seats right before puck drop, looks like way less people in attendance than what I saw on the Ducks game last night

Pia was looking on point in the kings jersey

Moore throws the first hit of the season on the 4th shift of the game

Real quick line shifts for the kings early

Kempe with the first look to the rafters after his first pedestrian shot of the season

5 minutes in and Vegas starts to play north/south hockey but Petersen doesn’t care and keeps the puck moving

Todd starts the 4th line in the o zone after a tv break, why?

Kopitar and Doughty making shit happen

Danault falls down from light contact, not close to a penalty, Lizotte looks jealous on the bench

Vilardi line picks up the minus one. Bjornfot and Roy wondering what Petersen is doing there.

Lizotte with the push back that only makes fat Lehner look good while swimming in the crease.

Danault last man back to the crease on the breakaway by Dadonov, a guy dumped by Ottawa

Marty gets his welcome back, fight time!

Man, Pepe can fight, rocked Koleslawr first punch

God Faust, shut up and call the play, don’t need commentary on a B grade fight

Brown leads the Kings in goal once again

Real good hands by Brown, suck it Bland

Patches with the douche bag late shot after being 20ft offsides

Danault with the face off win followed by his pass broken up leading to the puck going the other way

Tkachev dangles it like Datsuyk

Brown trolls Marty with the after the whistle hit

Danault easily checked off the puck by Whitecloud, puck the other way, Petersen has to make a save on Karlsson

Somehow Danault is double shifted and gets Vilardi pinned in the Kings zone, could have gotten called for tripping on Dadonov

Doughty not ready to hold the zone o pin the PP

Yea buddy, put Kopi on the point for the PP, what a touch on the pass by Tkachev, got serious juice on it

Danault line on the priority shift after a goal gets pinned in the Kings zone, luckily Walker bails him out and leads the breakout the other way

Nice period by the Kings, gotta pot a couple more and hope Vegas doesn’t wake up
