Meanwhile, LA made the playoffs last year and are building off that for deeper runs. Faber did not want to sign pro for another year. So, we squires a top line winger who signed long term in exchange.

On paper, both teams win this trade. Great business. I hope faber becomes productive for the Wild and Fiala is productive for us.

Schenn had a monsterous WJC for us as well. Gave us a piece that helped over the top. Maybe this ends up being the same catalyst.
