Is that 2nd goal for Holloway or 2nd goal for Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's 2nd goal. Holloway having a quiet day with 3 shots so far. Wisconsin up 4-0 after 2 periods.
Is that 2nd goal for Holloway or 2nd goal for Wisconsin?
Holloway pressures, steals the puck as he falls down, passes it out in front to Cole Caufield, who buries his second of the night. 2-1.
If the Badgers win, they take top seed in the Big 10.
I'm not usually a fan of a rival in Wisconsin winning anything in the Big 10, but I'll make an exception for Holloway.Wisconsin holds on to win 2-1 and are Big 10 regular season champs. Caufield gets both goals, 1 assist for Holloway.
Playoffs. What's going to happen with Holloway now? Is the big 10 champions the last thing for him?
That's a great comp I haven't heard yet. I've always thought along the lines of Kreider but might like PLD even better
"Work him in easy as a winger"I want to see him in Oilers Silks this season. Work him in easy as a winger.
A) Drai - Mcdavid - Yams
Holloway - Nuge - Puljujarvi
B) Nuge- Mcdavid-Yams
Holloway- Drai - Pulju
C) Holloway - Mcdavid - Yams
Nuge- Drai - Pulju
D) Neal - Mcdavid - Yams
Kahun - Draisaitl - Puljujarvi
Holloway - Nuge - Kassian

Has him in the top 6 in all but one of these.
Taking a rookie and throwing him in mid season in the top 6 is far from working him in easy.
I think if he decides not to return to Uni next year, he will finish the season in Bakersfield
I think there is next to no chance he plays in the NHL this season. They aren't going to have the kid come quarantine to maybe play a few games. If he decides to turn pro next season he will probably just fly down to Bakersfield.I wouldn't mind having him in a bottom 6 NHL role to finish the season. Say, maybe on a line with Haas and Ennis or Chiasson?
Bottom 6:
Ennis-Khaira-Archibald
Holloway-Haas-Chiasson
or
Holloway-Haas-Ennis
Archibald-Khaira-Chiasson/Neal

If he decides to return to Uni, his is done when his team isThe quarantine thing is a good point. Yeah, he'll probably end up finishing the season in Bako, which is a good spot for him.

Only danger with that is you spend a cheap ELC year on what, 20 games?I hope not. I can see him pushing for an NHL spot out of camp next season and if not being a call up at least. I'd prefer to see him go pro once his season is done.

For this season? His contract would slide if he signed an ELC and played in Bakersfield after his season is over. He's only 19.Only danger with that is you spend a cheap ELC year on what, 20 games?
I think that slide rule only works if they sign the contract before they turn 19.For this season? His contract would slide if he signed an ELC and played in Bakersfield after his season is over. He's only 19.
