Coming in as a visitor from a franchise who has never won, I’d think such a player would be allowed to age gracefully as he mentors the next generation. He still plays hard from what I see.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen identical bad calls. Usually the ref backs off a little bit, but now we know they are going to call that crap every time. The Avs are likely to try and exploit it.

Wagner is fine in a fourth line role, but he doesn't have the offensive skills (like Lewis and Clifford in years past) to handle top six duties. A fourth line of Wagner - Lizotte - Moore might be pretty good actually.
