The Kings manage to make an awful Ducks team look like world beaters, which further highlights just how bad the Kings are. They’re playing with zero emotion, and the staged fight at the start doesn’t address that.

And how bad is Olli Maatta that Jim Fox can’t even sugarcoat his dreadful performance?

WE've had worse periods from a goals against standpoint, but I'm not sure if we've played a worse all-around period all season. Doing nothing with the puck, struggling to get it back, somehow leaving guys open everywhere, sending three forecheckers to one duck and still getting beat

Just seems to be a lack of chemistry all around. It's like they don't practice with each other.

I mean it’s not overly surprising. Lost 2 defensive men, lost 2 top 6 forwards. Lots of learning chemistry on the fly.

Definitely need a lot though. Need Iaffalo to get his game going. Vilardi is looking a step being, seems to lose the puck every time has it. Brown seems to fall every time he has the puck. Have yet to actually notice Wagner’s speed this season. Could use Carter’s speed to shake up the defense and put them on their heels.

But it all starts at the back end, clean breakout passes.
