I've never doubted that this season. The team has shown full SUCC this entire season. And goaltending wasn't gonna change that. Quick sucks, Petersen was bad last game. And we have MacD holding the line. And an incompetent man behind the bench. Recipe for success.

This is the problem with sentimentality in sports. Expecting heroes to ride off into the sunset only happens in fiction. There are too many guys here that fans want to see end their runs as lifelong Kings.
