The Bally sports scoreboard does my head in.

Why is is so big?
Why is there this huge grey bar at the bottom that takes up so much space and does nothing?
Why are there a line of pixels on the bottom and sides of this grey bar that aren't covered up?
Why have they overlayed the bar instead of squashing the picture so now 1/8th of the picture cant even be sceen?
