I'm not jumping to conclusions about anything. During normal seasons it goes on for weeks and they talk about it all broadcast for games on end. I didn't say shit about whether or not you care about cancer or whether or not you do or don't donate. I just said it was weird that you don't know what Hockey Fights Cancer actually is is given the amount of exposure it gets every single season.

I watch hockey for hockey not for any other social causes so I tune it out. I doubt im in the minority either because when I think about sports, I think about sports. It's a couple hours of detachment, I don't think it's as weird or uncommon as you think.

I tune out... I go on my phone. And the only thing I know about bark madness is that there's dogs in it. I legitimately don't care about anything outside of hockey when I am watching hockey. I tune it out. I thought the purple stuff was to raise awareness. Didn't know there was a fundraiser. Just be a bit more open minded when you're attributing motive to others. It's immature.
