AA has a lot more gas in the tank. Dude is just scratching the surface. Love his game when he is going.

Players should adjust to that, as long as it's tight both ways. Lizotte just can't do that. Kings have played really well for 15 minutes, now have to kill a stupid penalty 60 feet from the goal.

MacDermid was the problem there. He is supposed to hold the blueline in the 1-3-1, but he backed in and left the lane open for the easy entry. Lizotte was going to let him go, saw MacDermid backed in too deep, had to reach out to try to get something on him.

I don't like to pile on guys who are just good enough to make their dreams, but man, the 1-3-1 is really not a good fit for someone with MacDermid's limited mobility. He can play a little, but a system that requires high pressure from the LD is not doing him any favors.
