He doesn't make many glaring mistakes and you can tell he's just trying to be a great teammate, but he also cannot make a play. Anyway I see it, our D is f***ed. Walker has regressed since the hit, Maatta thinks he's prime Karlsson- bless him and Mac is probably just as confused as us why he's in the lineup.

I think Anderson has had a nice quiet game. Roy has been good too. And can you believe DD is our defensive AND offensive dman now? Because I sure as hell can't.

well, as Fox pointed out, they're watching the same feed is us. At the game, from high above, you'll see the arm come up for offsides and other calls. I've seen the same mistakes on other networks, so cut the guys some slack.

Yeah, but I saw the off side from the same feed as them and I am just a person watching at home. Just like I can tell who the skaters actually are, it is pretty easy to tell Brown from Iafallo and Carter from Athanasiou without even seeing the jersey number. It happens damn near every game when he doesn't understand something obvious that happened. I mean, he messed up from in arena too, he is just worse this year. He had a whole rant the other day when he didn't understand the signal for knocked down with a high stick and thought it was a penalty.

Lewis did a lot of good in his time with the Kings. But the Kings bottom six had been very stale for the past few years, aging combined with complacency made our bottom six a huge negative a lot of nights. I've made this point before and it's not to popular but you shouldn't have bottom six guys on the roster for a decade, it just needs to be something that is filled with younger and hungrier players. Kopitar, Doughty, Quick and Brown? Sure, they can be lifers, Lewis and Clifford? Na, switch them out regularly. Moore, Grundstrom, JAD, Lizotte it adds an element of fresh and hungry blood that has made the team better. Our bottom six is a huge strength right now.

The typical Kings 4th liner, whether it was Lewis, Shore, Clifford, whoever would have taken that puck and "gotten it to the net", "make the goalie make a play", "tried to score a greasy goal" or whatever outdated cliche hockey coaches talk about. Moore made a very creative play, seeing that he had a teammate coming and executed a nice play to buy himself space to make a play. He is the perfect mix of speed, skill and grit you are looking for in a modern day bottom six player.
