The kids are looking good. JAD has earned his spot. My question is Strand. He looks really good and he is big, which we need. My question is where does he rank on out top 20 prospects list. I don’t ever remember seeing his name on it. How did he fly under the radar?

All I know Strand is somehow neutralizing the Maatta effective. No small task

How is there not even a hook, got one before the blue line, and one right during the shot.

I must be confused about that last point then, because I'm under the impression Strand wouldn't have enough games played to need to be protected. How is he eligible?

Edit: not sure if that came off smug, didn't mean to. I'm genuinely asking because every time I think I understand eligibility I don't, haha.
Late reply ... got sucked into the game ...

Eligibility is determined by number of pro seasons each player has completed.

“All players who have accrued two or less professional seasons at the end of the 2020-21 season, as well as all unsigned draft choices appearing on the teams reserve list, will be exempt from the upcoming expansion draft.”

So, all our prospects with 3 seasons between AHL or NHL can be drafted by Seattle.

The number of NHL games requirement is there to ensure Seattle has legit NHL players to draft, and not just AHL over-agers and veterans.

Basically they can draft Rymsha if they choose even tho he never played a single NHL game.
