i'll eat this if i'm wrong, but i'm gonna be pretty f***in pissed off if i learn that doughty just had a soft tissue ouchie he couldn't play though

i know there ain't a lot there above the glove and impacts onto the forearm hurt but i don't think that shot was breaking an arm

The game is almost a carbon copy of one of our earlier games against the Wild when they tied it up in the last second. You just knew that when the sharks tied it they were going to win. I understand we have a lot of excuses at our disposal, but at the end of the day you have to close out games like this. You had a chance at a regulation win over the sharkies without your best defenseman to close it out and you just don't . Its just not good enough

Another good loss?

Bad first period. Epically bad. Embarrassing display of hockey.
Then they came out in the 2nd period and showed some heart the rest of the game. Macd was responsible for a goal against but otherwise looked ok and maata had his best game of the year. Strand played surprisingly well. Brown scored 2 and could have scored 4 or 5.
