I think I'd rather have current Rob Scuderi or Christian Ehrhoff than Maatta.

Nothing like a non-NHL dcore with no chemistry with the forwards vs. the #1 team in the NHL.

Anderson--fine, but fading, apparently needs a new skate cut
Macdermid should be a #7, miscast as #4
Strand--in over his head, bad to start vs. VGK with Maatta
Maatta--pain.

If Bjornfot isn't banged up, there's really no excuse for him not to be playing right now.

I remember they did a “celebrity” game after a Kings game and the D pair on one team was Carrlyn and Nicole Brown. They were both pretty good. Probably an absolute step up on Alt/Strand/Maatta

I've been saying it for a while, but our lines are just brutal. Vilardi should be playing wing right now. Let him gain some confidence playing with Kopitar. It's not like Vilardi's crushing it at center, and playing the third line with Andersson and Brown certainly isn't helping his playmaking skills. Let's try this:

Kempe - Kopitar - Vilardi
Athanasiou - Carter - Iafallo
Andersson - Lizotte - Brown
Grundstrom - Anderson-Dolan - Moore
