I have a feeling the team will come out flying after so many months off. Probably will be fair amount of mistakes, but I think they'll have like pent up adrenaline that'll come out all at once.

I’m expecting the Wild to hit hard and tenderize us a bit. They got real big in the off-season.

Well if the team sucks its only for 56 games, on the flip side if they manage to win 8 or 9 in a row like they were on the cusp of doing end of last year, you probably make the playoffs.

I am holding out slim hope due to season ticket tenure, if they let some fans in towards the end of the season I might be one of the chosen few.

Glad I went to the Ottawa-Kings tilt last year, normally that is give the tickets to friends kind of game, but went due to the fact figured they were going to stop the season soon after

Really interested in seeing how some of they young D does, and if Roy continues his upward trend

If Carter looks as good as they say he does, I wouldn't mind seeing the following lines:

Iafallo - Kopitar - Brown
Kempe - Vilardi - Carter
Athanasiou - Lizotte - Wagner
Moore - Amadio - Luff

Short training camp and the other 2 guys know the system and their roles already. I imagine their leashes won't be long though.

I really think people are overlooking the relevance of not having any pre-season games. How much of a read can you have on a new player who's had less than 2 weeks of training camp and one inter-squad scrimmage. It's insane....

I see what you're saying but that was, as mentioned a looong time ago. I don't expect this team to be lighting the lamp all that much again this season. Especially the bolded. So I will be ecstatic with 2 goals tonight and moving forward.
