I'd wait as long as possible to sign up LT Dan. I am signed up for sling since i recently dumped Hulu Live due to their huge price increase. But i'm holding off on the NHL network upgrade until games start. You can do that too -- that way you don't start the $10 fee too soon.

Loved the article and the attention on Kaliyev.

"Antics"?? That is misleading and not a smart or accurate choice of words by the author in an otherwise fair and well-written article.

Antics--def. foolish, outrageous, or amusing behavior

Why did they choose antics over toomfoolery, shenanigans or ballyhoo?

Unfortunately I'm not able to afford all these cable networks so I guess I'll just have to wait about 6 months or a year to watch some of these games when someone posts them on Youtube. Can't wait to watch em in '21-'22. :laugh:

He also mentioned LA Kings prospect Kupari will be representing Finland....

Sounds like Chromiak is going to be on Slovakia's first line and first powerplay unit. Simontaival is on the first line for Finland. Bjornfot is wearing an A for Sweden and looks to be on the second pair. Byfield looks to be on the fourth line for team Canada, interestingly. Spence is paired with Korczak, but I'm not sure where he'll end up. It sounds like Turcotte and Kaliyev will be on the top line with Zegras, but USA hasn't really put out a ton of information. We'll see what happens with Faber as well, as there are only two right-handed defensemen on the team. I think Parik will be Czech Republic's starting goalie but these things can change pretty quickly.

That's the shake for now, I think. Exhibitions were supposed to start tomorrow but were cancelled because of the COVID outbreak for Sweden and Germany.

I think at this point it is safe to assume to the WJCs are on like Donkey Kong, so I am going to add NHL Network to my Sling

I think they will go but after reading the main boards us Kings fans might as well forgo watching as all our prospects are busts and they will just disappoint us. The sky is falling.
