I appreciate having been nominated for funniest poster.

I am good for the occasional one liner and am often happy to suggest a laugh, even at my expense.

Howev,
I've channeled my creativity into academic and other entertainment pursuits, so right now I consider myself hard pressed to match any of our truly funnier members handing out quips like it was a night at The Comic Strip.
So yes, I'll accept your votes, but acknowledge others deserve it more.

As to off ice contributions, this falls in 2 categories:
1. extremely important but having nothing to immediately do with hockey
--- I leave it to the voters to consider that as qualified or not;
and
2. various holiday and related content
--- this qualifies imo but is different from other purer hockey based contributions.
