Amadio goes from being the extra attacker days prior to getting the least amount of ice time last night. I really like TMac but he is handling the Amadio situation horribly. Amadio needs to be benched or sent to Ontario.

Frustrating game, but Raanta stole it for the Coyotes, plain and simple. That hasn’t happened a ton this season, so perhaps it feels new and terrible to some of us. The Kopi’s and Doughty’s did everything they could.

Its not all on Maatta and Amadio, but there’s a reason they played 14 and 9.5 minutes respectively, and folks are still wondering why they are getting so much ice time. Way to many visible mistakes last night with the puck from those two.

JAD can’t get back soon enough. I cant express how bored I am the second Lizzotte or Amadio are on the ice. Nothing good will happen, so I’m basically praying for a non event shift. Hard to win many games with them taking up half our C slots.

Lizotte has played very well and was most definitely the Kings best center last night.

He isn't a place holder at all, he is the real deal. Consistently pushes play forward, tilts momentum in the Kings direction, and gets pucks to the danger areas regularly. He is an ideal 3rd/4th center.

Kopitar was damn near invisible last night. Vilardi had a couple of good shifts for certain, but the bulk of the offense from that line was created by Athanasiou going against the entire Coyote roster. Amadio crapped his pants when given an opportunity to shine. But nearly every time the Kings sustained pressure and took over the game it was due to the work of Lizotte and Moore.

And for whatever reason, the Kings usually play the Coyotes better in Arizona, while the Coyotes usually play the Kings better in LA.

I have no problem whatsoever with Lizzotte being on the roster as the 4C. You are correct, he’s responsible, smart, and drives the play into the correct zone. Of course he eventually then gets manhandled off the puck solely because of his size and then that it. Which is a far cry better than Amadio, who routinely turns the puck over before the redline, and displays nothing like Lizzotte’s motor.

None of this particularly contradicts the point I was trying to make, which is one guy is playing a couple minutes too many, and the other is only playing out of necessity, and that’s too darn bad.

He gets pucks to the danger areas and tilts the ice in the kings favor yet has a couple goals on the season and isnt setting up his linemates much at all with 0 assists. Hes defensively responsible yet a minus 5 on the season.
I get it I like the kid also and yea hes better than amadio. They looked better when neither of them were in the lineup though and if you watched those games theres no way you could argue against that.
