Prior to the France goal Belarus had like 5 scoring chances in a row. They missed on 2 point blank shots. France scored on the 1st chance they've got in the period, and then Tolopilo lets in an easy one. Shots are 21:10. France score 2 goals on 6 SOG in the 2nd period.

I'm completely baffled how France has managed to stay in games with 2 top teams so far. This is basically the same roster that the Austrian B or A- squad mopped 6-3 in the 7th place match in the Swedish Super Challenge except they no longer have their top defenseman.

It was the 1st tournament for thee new coach, so a little adjustement was needed.
3:2 after a beauty from Protas and Alistrov (hopefully NHL scouts saw it).
4:2 from Sapego on PP.
5:2 from grinders Filyaev and Baltruk.
As I said -- total domination. Belarus starts to play at full speed in the 3rd periods only so far.

He was only added to the roster today. Probably wanted to play weekend NCAA game and only left after. He will probably play since he is there by now but I doubt he will be in full strength after just crossing the pond.

I know I've been crapping on Norway, and they're not a good team, but have the strangest feeling like he might just put Norway over the edge against Germany. Just a feeling.
What a bullshit no-goal call. He wasn't in the crease he wasn't even near the goalie. It may have gone off of his skate but there was absolutely no kicking motion.

Agree, no idea how that wasn't a goal. Germany comes right back and starts demolition... Backbreaker for Norway. I guess wouldn't have mattered in the big picture, Germany is way better.
