They claimed Fleury has and can as well, but I didn't see it last night.

One week to ID who will play next to Edmundson.

It looks like a fight to the finish between Fleury, Forsling, and McKeown for the #6/7 spots. At this point, I'm leaning towards Fleury and McKeown to make the 23-man roster and Forsling being waived and sent to Charlotte or Ottawa (for their tank job).

If Reimer doesn't make it I could see them trying to loan him to another AHL team though.

I'm hoping for the best out of James Reimer but if they pick Forsberg over him and someone claims Reimer on waivers, that will complete what was kind of a magic trick of getting out from under Scott Darling's contract without a buyout.

Hopefully we get a better update on Dzingle sometime soon. I agree that it doesn't seem catastrophic at that point, but it could be he's ready be the opener next week as that's more than day to day, several weeks, next month, several months. I think we can absorb the loss well enough if it's not crazy long term, but still a rough blow if it's much time.
