Washington had four draft picks that year and drafted three NHLers, including two home runs (Connor McMichael and Aliaksei Protas) and one useful-ish depth player (Brett Leason). This draft class may well have kept their window open to stay competitive through the end of Ovi’s contract. Not bad for only having four picks.

Only 42 legitimate NHL’ers and there’s a noticeable drop off in talent after top 10-13
Your list is pretty bad.

I'd like to think this guy can see the future!
I am a homer, but I also take Boldy over Seider, just not a fan of Seider as a premier D man. Size is also not a great argument when Boldy is also large and uses his reach about as well as any forward in the league at the moment. Physicality and position go to Seider, actual impact though favors Boldy IMO.

50 point D-Man playing some of the toughest assignments in the league and being a hitting and shot blocking machine goes over a 70 point winger every time.

And I like Boldy.

If your list doesnt start with

Hughes- Best player
Seider- Top dmen
Zegras- Only other game cover athlete in the draft

You just trollin
