Never thought he'd be a 30, 100 guy. His end of season swoons got to me his first few years but he's really put it all together.

Could be 5 back of 2nd WC spot with both Tampa and Oakland. Still very unlikely they catch those teams but at least they aren't packing it in.

Last night I was remembering how bad he was in 2017 and how we pretty much wanted Farrell to bench him or hit him 8th by the playoffs.

Hard to believe but Dombrowski was right about bullpen

Workman thru August been excellent

Walden, Barnes, Taylor overall good to very good

Workman & Walden 17-3

E Rod 16-5

These three are 33-8 which would scare crap out of me next year

Flip Sale record which still wouldn’t be great and they are 77-56

Devers, Bogearts, & Martinez all heading to 350-400 total bases

Sale Price Evoldi killed them

DD really only made one mistake in hindsight and it was Sale contract

Sale had his moments he also had ridiculous bad luck

It was a catch 22 to with him and timing is everything

Cleveland is playing Tampa this weekend while the A's are flying cross country to play the Yankees.

We need to sweep the Angels and see where we are on Monday. Being within of four games the second spot on September first is a doable position.
