OT: 2019-20 World Junior Championships Draft Scoring

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Broberg hurt Kupari and now Kupari is in doubt for the rest of the tourney.

That would take me out of the pool good friends. Will post the standings soon.

EDIT: Soli, Cerebral's official rules have only a point for a shootout loss and not an OT loss, but I'm honestly not sure.

I'll let Cerebral make the official ruling, but I berieve your goalie gets a point if it gets past OT. Like goalie assists, unspoken rule.

EDIT: The table says OT/SOL. :D

They definitely robbed you of a Soderstrom assist, no idea why they haven't added that yet.

I haven’t actually had to look at the rule in years as typically my goalie only ends up with 2 total points haha.

I believe we’ve always scored an OT loss as 0 points - we can look at changing that for next year if people want though. We haven’t actually adjusted the rules/scoring since this draft started over a decade ago.

I went back to 2016/2017 when it happened to you with Daniel Vlader. I queried the 1 point OTL loss and you maintained that it was just for SOL.

It has been decided.

It has always been OTL or SOL where points have been awarded since the team does receive points in the standing for them.

I was going off such logic as well. I’m biased with skin in the game, but there’s a reason I transcribed the table that way from @SK13's primitive design ;).

It’d be nice to have it since I’m getting grinched on the Soderstrom assist!

The annoying part of that they’ll annihilate the Germans regardless and that will validate the lines. The Americans have insane forward depth and they’re totally destroying it by playing skilled players with grinders.

The craziest thing is that Caufield and Turcotte already play on a line at Wisconsin - why break it up?
