Roy did exactly what he was supposed to do and stood up at the red line because he had cover, shame is it was ol' molasses legs Amadio. I am pulling for the guy to succeed, but he gets caught watching on sooooo many plays, and doesn't have the foot speed to recover. Amadio has his good shifts where he looks fully engaged and drives play, but also has an equal amount of time where he looks like he bought a ticket and got a hell of a seat upgrade.

That was a 2 on 3 that turned into a 2 on 1 due to poor back checking.

Walker goofed up and got beat bad, the first goal given up by a poor play by a defenseman since the Vancouver game.

Roy’s half ass pinching attempt was the catalyst for that goal.. not sure what imaginary game you’re watching bud but I suggest to change it to FSW

Those were perfectly played out by the Sabres... believe me our forwards deserve blame for failing to recognize where the play was headed and closing lanes but as I said early, both Roy and Walker are too mistake prone.. especially Roy

At this point, my only hope is that the players learn and respond to McLellan’s system, so that by next year, we can bring rookies onto the team and have veterans able to help them along.
