Actually Felix Potvin was the main reason I became a Kings fan. My dad is a Leafs fan so I grew up watching him and he was one of my favorite Hockey cards as a kid. I started really following hockey when he got traded to the Kings and since I didn't have a team (I live in Winnipeg, but they got moved when I was 6 or 7) I got sucked in. I remember my dad making fun of me for following a California team, well guess I had the last laugh since i've seen 2 cup wins in my lifetime.

And to think, Potvin was brought in off the scrap heap after, I believe, the Canucks told him to just go home.

Potvin is a lot like Deadmarsh. Not a King for very long, but left a bigger mark than most other players.
