It would be really, really awesome if Iafallo continued to progress. He may not be a traditional first liner, but like it or not, since his rookie season, he's tied with Adrian Kempe with 38 goals (in four fewer games, 209 to 213). Only Carter, Toffoli, Brown, and Kopitar have scored more than Iafallo has over the past three seasons.

There's a reason he plays where he does in the line-up and it's not because he has elite skill. Iafallo is the type of player that meshes well with skill players, he may be putting up better offensive numbers on a more offensive team. I'm not saying hes a 70-80 point player on a good team but 50-60 may not be a stretch. I don't believe he would all of the sudden be a 4th line grinder. As for trade value, I don't think hes in trade discussions but I guarantee every team or damn near every team would trade a 3rd round pick for him.

Nice to see the Kings pull one out after trailing after two. They outplayed Arizona in the 3rd and it payed off with two huge late goals. Must have been a great feeling for the team.

If Iafallo continues to improve and stays consistent, then he is a great value for what they did to acquire him. It only helps the Kings. I guess it feels like we have a team full of guys who are just filling holes for now so it could be I'm just jaded.

Agreed. He’s improving year on year and works hard, you have to respect it at the very least. Of course he shouldn’t be a 1st line winger and I do think others should have been given a look in that spot, however he seems to be making the most of things during the current stretch at least.

As I’ve said before, I’d be open to moving him but only for a premium. He’s worth far more than a 3rd rd pick though, and I think a 2nd would be a bad trade for us also.
 
I love ripping on iaffalo but am happy for him. Hope he proves me wrong every game and can keep putting up points

15-18-33 in year two
22-27-49 pace so far in year three.

Happy to have been beating the AI drum all along, can never understand the people that have been so against him, and extra LOL for those at the beginning of the season suggesting he's not even an NHLer.

That reaction by the whole team to his hatty tells you everything you need to know about him as a player and a person.

Even if he doesn’t “develop more@ 27” wouldn’t it be nice to have more 20 goal scorers , him, Fagemo next year , possibly kempi, s,Vilardi possibly and who knows if Kaliyev makes the team, I know its a lot of possibly but we have guys skating every night that just don’t score at the 20 goal clip, it’s like we skate short handed all the time . We have lost dozens of games by one or two goals the last two seasons ,how awesome would it be to actually have a chance to win every night again

definitely but carter gets literally no punishment for getting handily shoved off his man and not even recovering in time to try again

i just think if you're gonna make a guy go out there for one more shift thinking he's got an opportunity to make up for it, then staple him to the bench instead, you're doing something wrong yourself. it's not right scapegoating a singular player like that

doubling down on kopi's minutes in the 3rd isn't exactly impressing me much either. riding your big guns into the dirt for a nothing game when you're in last place is pretty stupid imo
