And I don't feel he handles it well/can get the puck in the zone. He has speed and grit, which if the puck were around the boards more for a cycle, he'd be apt to battle for it. But he's not being used well.

Kempe is not the PP QB...that is the Captain Mr. Kopitar. I think Kempe is being misused on the PP. He needs a PP team that is more active and puts shots on the net like when he plays for team Sweden. I think he'd excel better on the 2nd PP unit because it fits his style. The 1st PP unit is too passive and stagnant for someone like Kempe.

he pushed to the middle as the pass went from low to the slot, if he's gonna make a push it has to be to the shooter, not the center of the crease

he got himself caught between by making a pointless push

Kempe has not done well with anyone this season, so I'm not sure why you feel the 2nd PP unit would allow him to excel. He has arguably been one of the worst forwards all season.

I think this game is a case where the other team is just clearly better than us. Fleury is outplaying Quick and the team as a whole just prevented us from getting any sort of momentum. Other games I felt like we were mostly shooting ourselves in the foot, this one is more on what Vegas is doing is right.

i'm not gonna rag on the trips and stuff cause whatever, it's official's opinion but grabbing a goalies stick and handing it to him right in front of the referee is black and white rulebook shit

that cannot happen in the NHL

I agree with Kings starting behind because Quick was bad in the first. But the Kings for whatever reason took their foot off the gas when they were killing the Knights. Quick looks decent right now but the Kings aren't attacking nor getting calls.
 
Also, strange that we looked gassed and VGK looks sharp, I've long worried about our conditioning (and their PED use :naughty:), there's no excuse for being a step behind, can't play our system if you can't forecheck hard.

yeah, especially on the pp. Vegas seems to have one simple idea, make plays and score. We seem to over think everything and miss high and wide.
