Game 7 vs Chicago in the WCF. That was a battle for the best championship team as they alternated cup wins.

It was very sweet to beat them in OT to send them packing.

If I'm going by my own in the moment reaction, it's Game 7 in Chicago. 2012 was relief after all the disappointment, and they were already up 3-0 in the series. 2014 was icing on the cake, and they were up 3-0 in the series. Since the Hawks owned the Kings from the opening game of 2013, right through to the end of the 2nd period of Game 2 in 2014, them winning that Game 7 the way they did, was the moment that I was most audible.

For me it was Stoll beating Vancouver. The Kings had shocked Vancouver for 3 straight games, but Schneider came in and seemed to shut the Kings down. When Stoll scored that overtime goal to beat them it really felt like something special was about to happen. The cups were obviously the pinnacle, but I remember after Stoll scored that goal smoking a cigarette and reading hf on my phone just pumped for the rest of the playoffs.

All of those moments are amazing. The Cups top it in a way--but after a certain point, each one almost felt inevitable. Which is weird to say. The 2014 one was more surprising in the moment but I stood up on my couch as soon as Martinez advanced the puck and said "this is it."

Gonna be kind of a contrarian opinion, but I was an absolute teary mess after the 1st STL series. I've never heard a crescendo like the last few minutes at Staples Center, then the top absolutely blowing the f*** off with the Brown empty netter, followed by a tackle by Kopi...and just tears everywhere. THAT was the moment when we knew, and when it all became real to me. So as far as in the moment reaction...the last few minutes of that series were indescribable.

In that instant, it meant that they could beat any team - and they pretty much did just that.

Like it was yesterday.

Not like you can pick a bad moment. The Richards hit at the end of Game 1 is as good as any other too. Brown on Sedin. Kopitar fighting. King being called up because Sutter saw something special in him. The moment Kopitar got hurt at the end of the 10-11 season might have eventually showed Lombardi how limited the team was down the middle, and that sequence of events helped move the Richards trade along, which then led to the disappointing start to 11-12, and the firing of Murray, and then the job saving Carter trade, etc, etc.
