Carter has had about as great of career as any pro hockey player could ask for. 2x WJC golds, olympic gold, 2x Stanley Cups and even a Calder Cup. He's banked about 70M over the course of his career and scored a ton of big goals along the way. Now he's playing in is 1000th game. Congrats Jeff.

He's earned his silver stick. A few years ago I was going to order a Kings away jersey, I prefer older jerseys but wanted a new one, had the choice between Richards (who was my favorite King player at the time) and Carter-I chose Carter, thought he would be better longer. It's funny how things turn out.
