Yes, you usually have one of your skates behind you when you take a stride towards the boards. Didn't he even clear the puck, or did he miss it? Dahlin was stationary, the Canadian could've passed him, but of course it's nicer to flop. Even if he did fail to skate by him, how is it's Dahlin's fault he failed to skate by him?

With the direction hockey seems to be going, that's a penalty. Just as it is in football these days, leg touches leg and a player falls down..ref blows the whistle.

Great game so far. Both sides have had their moments and on the whole I think 1-1 is a fair reflection of the play on the ice. The 3rd prided is going to be great.

It's a penalty. Just give the canadian players some embellishment calls and it's cool. They're floppin' and have the entire game without getting called for it.
