The way you guys are obsessed with USA hockey that you have to come into a thread that doesn't involve Canada and troll Americans just proves how insecure you are. The USA is either feared or respected in just about everything, you guys on other hand have hockey, that's it. But hey congrats on being good at that thing you invented and practically no one in the rest of the world cares about. :thumbu:

Don't you have Trump as president?

Yeah, the USA is feared and respected lol

Meh, isnt like all of Elias points on the PP? Fjällby has been better 5vs5, and I think his game brings more in this tourny (not in the future). I'm not just counting points bruh
Yeah most of his points have been on the PP, which has helped the team win games. He has also been good defensively, often being the first forward back to defend.

It does if we try to pretend the Americans weren't flopping around like this is the FIFA world cup.

Incidentally they didn't get into next summers FIFA, so maybe there was some contractual obligation.
ps. altho many allegations towards football are outdated by 20-30 years.

One for the Toronto fans - I thought Liljegren had a strong game today, nice stretches passes, pretty physical but didn't take a penalty, solid defensively except maybe on one play. Looked a lot better than Brannstrom.

EP stepped it up from last game but he's still got to get quicker and braver in attacking the middle of the ice since there's much less room on the wings on small ice so you might as well. Also needs a lot of work on the faceoffs, as does Mittelstadt...Andersson for being injured killed it on the dot today.

I kept telling the haters, Nylander is getting it done when it counts. He is my pick for Swedish MVP. All the whining about "shoulder slumping" looks real funny now.
Really? So the MVP is a player who is is entirely inconsistent the entire tournament?

There are better MVP picks here than Nylander. Andersson with a busted shoulder for two games showed better and more consistent play than Nylander all tournament.

LOL. I feel bad about saying this because I know lots of Americans and they’re great people...but this is the most stereotypically pathetic American thing i have ever read.

I'll make a trade for Trump for JT- two socks straight up right now in terms of leadership....

But they aren't hockey players... should stick to hockey...

I am very happy with our American contingent on the Winnipeg Jets... hard working, earnest bunch...

Pettersson was great this game. He was less good last game. This game he did a pro effort and backchecked very well.

Sore loser who congratulated the Swedes on a game well played? You're the one stamping your feet because I brought up USA beating Canada.

C'mon, try to keep up.

Maybe you did congratulate them but a guy who goes on about how much he would like to beat canada in a gold medal game again in a game that country didn't play in suggests you still are not processing this loss very well.

after all..................Canada was nowhere to be found in this game were they?

anyway, who cares? the games over and golds out.

I think that EP has two ES points - both against the Swiss. Pretty disappointing.

I like Liljegren and think he takes far too much flak for the fishbowl he's in as a Leaf pick. He looked very good today and that feed on the 4th Swedish goal is the sort of thing that Leaf fans should be celebrating.
