Strange, I've had the opposite impression. The tools he has are tasty.

In the first game everyone looked good because the Danes were so bad. Against Slovakia he looked horrible. Constantly turning the puck over and didn’t look strong defensively. His skating wasn’t as great either. Maybe he’s nervous? I saw him play 2 College games he looked a lot better but not dominant.

Next 2 periods should be wild especially with the U.S starting out on the p.p to start the 2nd.

Overall though, a good period from Canada, defensively sound aside from that last moment in the period and cleared the zone quite well most of the period.

I don't know if it's my bias or reality, but I have never been impressed with Mete, in this tournament, in juniors or in the NHL. He can skate well, but other than that, I am just confused. He gets beat so damn often at all 3 levels.
