Game is 2-1 if you discount shitty penalties as wellGame is tied 2-2 in real goals
Something from Turku.
edit. Hopefully this is allowed as an answer.
Cut the high danger chances, check, get traffic, check, and then Finland can erase that Canada lead, pending.
You are correct. Small ice is only infinitely better in every facet of the game. Slow, non-talented players compared to NHL? Yes, make them play in a wider and longer rink so they can look even slower and not need to make any kind of fast decisions to evolve their game.
Small ice is more entertaining by default because of the speed, there's rarely a moment that a player can just skate around people. Well, McDavid does that. But that's that.
I have not. His game is probably much more effective on bigger ice where he can get his shot off. Looks pretty ineffective today.
Swedish league is just making it look like he plays well mate
Yeah. Truth hurts.Finland was way over-hyped from what I'm seeing here.
wrong
Nicely done! Go Suomi!
I know finns hate swedes more than anything but I just can't stand Canada.
In what world are coaches going into refs rooms??Finnish coaches went into ref's room during intermission and showed printscreens from the goal and the refs agreed they ****ed up.
That's why they are giving all these penalties to Canada.
That'd be dope. He's got a wicked shot, just hasn't been able to utilize it so far.By the end he will have a couple of goals and still might have looked ineffective. The way of the sniper.
actually this is originally a Greek song according to Wikipedia.
Saturating the league with Mestis players with adding 3 former Mestis teams wasn't the best decision the league made, quite the contrary.I clearly understand why some Finnish junior players choose CHL or USHL and NCAA instead of SM liiga.
North American rink is superior compared to large Euro rink.
Maybe this goes off-topic a bit but i have to say this.
Game's evolution is huge today and hockey as a game comes faster all the time.
Finland should follow that change and bring small North American rinks to sm liiga.
But so long when the management is full brainless idiots in SM liiga that change won't happen.
True, but he's shown signs of waking up this period. That'd be dope. He's got a wicked shot, just hasn't been able to utilize it so far.
Here is my proof where is yours?
63.6 Awarded Goal - In the event that the goal post is displaced, either
deliberately or accidentally, by a defending player, prior to the puck
crossing the goal line between the normal position of the goalposts,
the Referee may award a goal.
In order to award a goal in this situation, the goal post must have
been displaced by the actions of a defending player, the puck must
have been shot (or the player must be in the act of shooting) at the
goal prior to the goal post being displaced, and it must be determined
that the puck would have entered the net between the normal position
of the goal posts.
When the goal post has been displaced deliberately by the
defending team when their goalkeeper has been removed for an extra
attacker thereby preventing an impending goal by the attacking team,
the Referee shall award a goal to the attacking team.
The goal frame is considered to be displaced if either or both goal
pegs are no longer in their respective holes in the ice, or the net has
come completely off one or both pegs, prior to or as the puck enters the goal.
I can see it going either way. If Finns give Canada an inch of an opening, they'll probably clinically finish that chance. You can feel this one being tied up real soon.

It's played after home win in Turku. That's correct. This "Turku" part came that a former TPS-defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen said that people from Turku selected that for Finnish goal song. I _think_ that TPS has it as a regular song also.
It helps that he has been playing with men this season, and also playing alongside Henrik Tallinder (678 NHL games). Is Juolevi 17 years old again? What a difference from last years tourney, looking poised and solid so far. Didn't realize how big he was either.
