Absolutely. As a player you play that current play and that's it. You can't think what happened previously or what will happen in the future. Referee won't change the calls afterwards.

But for the spectators it is a completely different thing.

Refs have been handing them penalties to make up for that. They’re being given plenty of changes and not just aren’t doing anything with them
