Gotta be honest. I would take my chances of Team USA vs Providence. Not a good team overall.

Its news to people the Mens team is a joke?

Donato and Greenway are the only likeable players. Its disgusting that Gionta is taking a spot from a kid and not just counting his money from his successful NHL career that likely lasted too long or Chris Bourque has been rewarded for decade plus of AHL service f them I honestly can't really root for this team though I won't root against them. Should have been all college kids or guys who were still in college 1-2 years ago. Wish Eric Foley from PC made the team. How the f*** is Chris Bourque a better option than him?

Lots of questionable roster decisions on the women's side too.

Agree. How does Carpenter not make the team?

I have to root for the women big time because I really want Amanda Kessel and Hilary Knight to get the monkey off their back they have been the best in the sport for a while. The USA Womens team is so good that if they never win the Gold its a major choke job they clean up at all other international events.

The only fun players on the USA are....wait for it...Huge shocker....The college kids. After that, there is nothing interesting here. Adam Gaudette should have been on the team as well. How do you leave the nation's leading college scorer off the roster? Terrible decisions.

Bigger ice is overrated. Less scoring 5 on 5. Much better for PPs though

If we are talking HS or College players maybe. But not when 10 of the games best players are on the ice along with 2 refs and 2 linesmen.

For example the big ice hurts the product for the ladies games OTHER than USA vs Canada. But when the 2 best are going head to head on it its great.

Bruins never trade Seguin and hes competing for MVP awards if NHL was played on a bigger ice sheet.

I disagree. It wouldn't be a chance for chance thing. It would go through a phase like 3 on 3. They traded chance for chance a lot in the early days. Now looks how conservative teams are because how much hard it is to take the puck away.

Teams would be more conservative defensively, wouldn't be better for the game.

Japanese figure skater did a flawless routine. He was amazing. Nathan Chen had to follow that and flubbed most of his jumps. He's in 13th place after the short program.
