I’d love to bring him up to see what he’s got but maybe they just leave him be

Kravtsov isn't ready for top9 NHL TOI yet.
We're already being patient with Kakko as a top9 RW on this team; two kids trying to get up to speed at the exact same position would be rough.
This is probably true – and as a result, while the team still has a meaningful shot at the POs, I don't expect to see him.Kravtsov isn't ready for top9 NHL TOI yet.

Probably unlikely he’d be called up for the whole duration but could probably get his cap of tea of 3-5 games before the end of the season. If anything - to see how he measures at this point and what to take with him back to Hartford. Common practice that has been used before.
Otherwise looking at the roster w/o Kreider probably means that DG and Gouthier would be Kravtsov’s primary competition, not specifically for 1LW but really 2 winger spots in the top-9.
Once the rangers are eliminated they should definitely call him up and let him play meaningful minutes with panarin. Learn from a pro.
Exactly. And we’re in a playoff push now. So probably not a good time to get creative.Kravtsov isn't ready for top9 NHL TOI yet.

Going to be waiting for a lot of prospects with that criteriaUntil he becomes a point per game player, he stays in the AHL
Any chance for a callup if Chytil is out for any time?

Why would they trade a kid they just drafted in the top 10 only two years ago especially if he is progressing well in the AHL?I have a feeling they might try to trade Kravstsov if he keeps producing at such pace in AHL.
Because the particular poster is ridiculously uninformed and has something against European players. Why would they trade a kid they just drafted in the top 10 only two years ago especially if he is progressing well in the AHL?

By all accounts Gorton considers that we have a bit of a logjam at RW since he has been shopping Buch. I wouldn’t rule out that Kravy is going, but in the end I still think that it’s unlikely. The value must of course be there.
Could also be they wanted to shed salary and now aren’t as eager to do so having moved Brady.
