NBA is so weird with their trades. Why do they need time to confirm draft pick only trades that involve no salaries?

At the odd chance Memphis takes Young then the deal won't happen.

They would've probably taken a big, but yeah, as a Mavs fan I'm pumped. Was pissed they dropped in the lottery, and they paid for that, but glad we got our guy.

We need a point guard and we need talent plain and simple. Fox would've been great but got snatched up. Young or Doncic woud've been great. Got snatched up. I mean there's hard luck and then there's being left with Isaac and Bamba instead of either guy

I agree, but if Memphis takes who Atlanta wanted then the deal would have sucked for them. This way ensures each team gets who they want.

Then Clippers just go for the next one. There’s no reason for them to move both. There’s so much depth in this draft and the Clippers have so many needs. Only player that I can see being a legit starting 5 option right now is Harris.
